Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Social Impact Manager to design, implement and oversee programs that maximize positive outcomes. Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in social impact management, program evaluation, or strategic philanthropy.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing M&E frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing and presentation.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations or in the social sector, ideally within the Cape Town context.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Familiarity with international development standards and best practices in social impact assessment.
• A proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic framework for social impact measurement and management aligned with our client's mission.
• Design and manage robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems to track program progress and outcomes in Cape Town.
• Analyze data and generate insightful reports on social impact for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancement and innovation to increase positive social outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with beneficiaries, community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders in Cape Town.
• Lead grant writing efforts and manage donor reporting requirements related to social impact.
• Represent the organization at relevant conferences, forums, and stakeholder meetings.
• Oversee the allocation of resources to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of social impact programs.
• Stay abreast of best practices, emerging trends, and policy changes affecting social impact initiatives globally and locally.
• Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the program teams.
