Placements24 seeks a Lead BIM Architect in Cape Town to spearhead BIM initiatives across architectural projects. You will set standards, develop workflows, and lead a team of BIM specialists and architects to enhance coordination and efficiency.

The role requires a deep understanding of BIM technologies (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360) and a track record of delivering precise models for complex coastal or high-end residential schemes. Based in Cape Town with relocation support.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, at least 3 years in BIM management.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong proficiency with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement company-wide BIM standards and workflows.
• Lead BIM execution plans across projects and coordinate design data.
• Manage BIM coordinators and technicians; provide guidance.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM utilization throughout lifecycle.
• Deliver BIM training and workshops for staff and stakeholders.
• Oversee clash detection and data integrity of BIM models.
