Placements24 is seeking a Lead Commercial Leasing Broker to drive leasing strategies for a portfolio of premier Cape Town properties. This executive role demands a strategic thinker with a proven record in closing complex commercial leases and building strong tenant relationships.

You will lead a high-performing leasing team, shape pricing strategies, and partner with marketing and property management to maximize occupancy and rental income.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate leasing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record leasing significant commercial properties in Cape Town.
• Strong negotiation, sales and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional leadership, team management and motivational abilities.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive leasing strategies for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
• Identify and pursue new leasing opportunities, building relationships with tenants and their representatives.
• Negotiate lease terms, conditions and pricing to optimize outcomes for the company.
• Manage the leasing process from initial contact to lease execution and handover.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities and economic conditions to inform strategies.
• Lead and mentor the leasing team, setting targets and providing guidance.
• Collaborate with marketing and property management to present and manage properties.
• Prepare leasing reports, forecasts and presentations for senior management.
• Represent the company at industry events and negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
