Placements24 is seeking a skilled Buyer II to enhance our client's procurement team in Paarl. You will manage end-to-end procurement for select categories, focusing on cost optimization, quality, and reliable supply chains.

You will negotiate contracts, select suppliers, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with policies. This role offers growth potential in a dynamic environment in the Paarl region, with collaboration across internal teams and leverage of procurement software tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role (3-5 years).
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Solid understanding of supply chain principles and procurement best practices.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
