Job summary

Zohorecruit in Johannesburg, South Africa is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to turn messy processes into deliverable solutions. You will run workshops, write requirements, shape the design, and stay through testing and go-live. AI and automation are integral, not a slide at the end.

Qualifications

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Informatics, Business Analysis, Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
• Intermediate: 4–7 years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst. Senior: 8+ years, with proof you have led complex analysis and transformation.
• Gemstone platform experience. This is required.
• Working knowledge of APIs, integrations and SQL, plus Agile delivery.
• Tools you have actually used: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, Postman, SoapUI or Power BI.
• UML and BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Breakdown processes, data flows and operational pain, then turn them into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps.
• Design the solution with architects and developers, and check what was built against what the business asked for.
• Spot where AI, automation and analytics remove manual work, and help those use cases get implemented.
• Own functional, integration and UAT testing, including calculations and integrations.
• Be the person business and technology both trust when the scope starts to drift.
