Job summary

Blue Pearl Pty Ltd is seeking a business-focused analyst to bridge business needs and technical delivery. You will translate incomplete or verbal requirements into concrete functional and technical specifications, owned from the moment a requirement is raised until delivery, testing and acceptance.

Success hinges on reducing clarification cycles, avoiding rework in UAT, and delivering clear acceptance criteria while coordinating with business stakeholders and the build team.

Qualifications

• Experience in elicitation and analysis of business requirements.
• Ability to document business and technical specifications clearly.
• Familiarity with regulatory, data-protection and audit considerations.
• Capability to write clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and release activities.

Responsibilities

• Run workshops, interviews and process walkthroughs with stakeholders and users.
• Challenge stated requirements to uncover underlying business needs and value.
• Identify gaps, contradictions and unstated assumptions and drive resolution.
• Document current-state and target-state processes with required changes.
• Define technical specifications including API contracts, data mappings and non‑functional requirements.
• Groom and maintain the backlog, support sign-off on specifications, and assist in testing.
• Communicate decisions clearly to both business and technical audiences.
