Job summary

Blue Pearl HQ is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and IT delivery. You will elicit requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into functional and technical specifications that teams can implement without interpretation.

The role owns requirements from inception through delivery and acceptance, ensuring minimal rework in UAT and clear acceptance criteria. You will run workshops, validate requirements, document as-is and to-be processes, and support test scenarios, with

Qualifications

• Gather and analyse business requirements, often incomplete or verbal, and translate into functional specifications.
• Define target-state processes and document current-state workflows to guide delivery.
• Write clear acceptance criteria and support sign-off on specifications before build.
• Drive change management and stakeholder alignment throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain a requirements traceability matrix from business need to delivered feature.

Responsibilities

• Run workshops and interviews with business stakeholders and operations teams.
• Challenge stated requirements to uncover underlying business need and value.
• Document current and target state processes and necessary control changes.
• Define functional specifications with rules, use cases, and validation logic.
• Translate to technical specs with data models, interfaces, and non-functional requirements.
• Support SIT/UAT, triage defects, and contribute to release notes and user guides.
