Job summary

HRCorp is seeking a Business Development Officer to join its Domestic Guarding team in Johannesburg. You will drive sales by assessing client requirements, market trends and company capabilities, while ensuring PSIRA compliance and maintaining CRM updates.

The role requires Matric, 3-5 years in security services, own vehicle and strong computer literacy. You will be targeting regular client engagement and end-to-end sales processes.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• 3-5 years' experience within a Service/Security industry.
• Own vehicle.
• Computer literate.
• PSIRA registered within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Grow the company through sales.
• Meet or exceed sales budget (turnover and GP).
• Canvass and monitor area activity.
• Make 100 calls per week.
• Make 10 new appointments per week.
• Make 5 quotations per week.
• Maintain a 1:10 appointments-to-close ratio.
• Ensure all paperwork is in place (quotations, contracts, etc.).
• Build relationships and client entertainment.
• Follow company policies and working hours.
• Ensure an integrated solution is sold to the client.
• Conduct needs analysis and site visits.
• Attend site startups and take site startup photos.
• Complete site startup evaluation scorecard 10 days after startup.
• Keep the CRM system fully updated at all times.
