Job summary

Dananda Talent is seeking a Senior Business Development professional to drive revenue by acquiring new customers and expanding opportunities within the retail and education sectors across South Africa. The role covers B2B and B2C sales, pipeline growth, and converting leads into student enrolments.

The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years in sales, proven B2B/B2C experience, and a track record of meeting targets.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years sales experience in a high-performance environment.
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Build and maintain a strong B2B and B2C sales pipeline.
• Identify new business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales.
• Engage prospective students and corporate clients through consultative selling.
• Build strong customer relationships and drive referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports.
• Work with Marketing, Admissions and Training teams to improve lead conversion.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and provide market feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in retail, call centre or education sales is advantageous.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation and closing skills.
• CRM and pipeline management experience.
• Willingness to service clients across South Africa.
