Qualifications

• Civil Eng with structural specialization and Pr Eng registration.
• 6+ years of structural engineering with bridge design exposure.
• Proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/STAAD.Pro and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and related structures.
• Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specs.
• Assess existing bridges and propose strengthening or rehab measures.
• Ensure compliance with SANS 10160/10162 and project requirements.
• Collaborate with road, geotechnical, and construction teams.
• Prepare reports, feasibility studies, and construction support docs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Review shop drawings and respond to site queries during construction.
