Job summary

Quality Connect Staffing represents a leading foundry company based in Boksburg seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to plan and execute golf days, expos, and marketing events.

The role is full-time with a monthly salary of R35,000 to R40,000, requiring a bachelor's in marketing or related field, at least 3 years in event coordination, and strong vendor, budget, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in industrial or manufacturing industries.
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events of various sizes.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and event management software.
• Knowledge of event marketing and social media strategies.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate all company events, including golf days, expos, and marketing events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other event partners.
• Create event budgets and manage expenses for cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual equipment.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop event materials and promote events across channels.
• Manage event registration and attendee communication.
• Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and report on success and areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event coordination.
