Job summary

Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng invites an energetic Brand Activation Coordinator to join our marketing team. You will plan, coordinate, and execute in-store promotions, events, and sampling activities to bring brands to life and drive trial.

The role requires meticulous organization, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns with external agencies and partners. A marketing-related degree and 1–3 years’ experience in FMCG branding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination or brand activation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Based in Benoni or willing to commute to Benoni.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute brand activations: in-store promotions, events, and sampling.
• Liaise with agencies, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of activation materials.
• Manage event logistics, including venue booking, staffing, on-site coordination.
• Develop briefs for creative agencies and review campaign materials for brand consistency.
• Track and report on performance of activation programs, measuring success against objectives.
• Assist in development of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
• Manage budgets for specific activation projects, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with retail partners to facilitate in-store execution.
• Support Brand Management team with marketing and admin tasks.
• Ensure all brand activations comply with policies and legal requirements.
