Job summary

Pepkor Lifestyle in Limpopo is seeking a Branch Manager to own the store’s overall performance. You will drive daily sales, profitability, and world-class service while maintaining visual merchandising standards.

You will lead merchandising, promotions, stock control, and team development, ensuring compliance with CPA, NCA, and POPIA. A strong entrepreneurial mindset and leadership are essential in this dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate.
• 3 to 6 years of retail experience.
• Strong leadership, planning and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, stock management, SAP/SAS and CPA/NCA/POPIA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Store Performance: Execute daily sales strategies, monitor budgets, manage store expenses, and analyze local sales trends to meet or exceed profitability goals.
• Floor Leadership & Execution: Implement visual merchandising planograms, manage promotional campaigns, and conduct daily morning meetings, floorwalks, and checklists to guarantee pristine store standards.
• Team Empowerment: Recruit, develop, and retain top store talent; host monthly 1-on-1 performance reviews, track digital training participation (Axonify), and cultivate a high-performance culture.
• Risk & Admin Control: Execute vital in-store administration, including cash-ups and stock counts; actively manage stock loss/shrinkage, and ensure health & safety standards are met.
• Customer Service Champion: Resolve customer issues on the floor immediately, review social/Google reviews and CRM reports daily, and inspire staff to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Matric certificate.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of retail experience.
• Core Competencies: Strong capabilities in deciding and initiating action, leading and supervising, planning and organizing, coping with pressures, and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Skills: Google Suite proficiency, operational stock management, and a solid understanding of retail and consumer finance operating systems (SAP/SAS) and legislations (CPA, NCA, POPIA, etc.).
