VKB Agriculture is seeking a Branch Marketer to drive branch success, balance stock control, sales growth and customer service, and step in for the Branch Manager when needed.

The role combines operations, merchandising and people development in a fast-paced agricultural retail environment, with opportunities to build leadership skills and contribute to local farming communities. Afrikaans and English proficiency is required.

Competenze

• 2-3 years’ experience in agricultural retail operations.
• Stock control and shrinkage prevention experience.
• Irrigation systems knowledge including design and sizing.
• Hardware/construction product knowledge and quotations.
• Experience selling animal health products and veterinary medicines.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).

• Support and supervise day-to-day branch operations.
• Monitor branch sales, expenses and budgets.
• Manage stock ordering, control, merchandising and stock takes.
• Oversee stock loss prevention and inventory accuracy.
• Support animal feed store operations and branch processes.
• Train, guide and support branch employees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve queries.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ensure safety, operational and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with branch marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Act as second-in-command and lead activities in absence of Branch Manager.
