VKB Agriculture is seeking a Branch Marketer to drive branch success, balance stock control, sales growth and customer service, and step in for the Branch Manager when needed.

The role combines operations, merchandising and people development in a fast-paced agricultural retail environment, with opportunities to build leadership skills and contribute to local farming communities. Afrikaans and English proficiency is required.

Formación

• 2-3 years’ experience in agricultural retail operations.
• Stock control and shrinkage prevention experience.
• Irrigation systems knowledge including design and sizing.
• Hardware/construction product knowledge and quotations.
• Experience selling animal health products and veterinary medicines.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written).

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF 4.
• Valid Code 08 driver's licence.
• Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.

Essential Experience

• 2-3 years' experience within an agricultural retail environment.
• 2-3 years' experience in stock control, stock management, and stock loss prevention.
• 1-2 years' experience in irrigation systems, including pump sizing and selection, irrigation design, and garden layout planning.
• 1-2 years' experience within the hardware and construction industry, including quotation preparation from construction plans.
• 2-3 years' experience selling animal health products and veterinary medicines.
• Sound knowledge of AFCASA and similar animal health product ranges, active ingredients, and product applications.
• 2-3 years' experience in the sale and storage of animal feed.
• Able to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
