Placements24 is seeking an experienced Boutique Hotel Manager to oversee all operations at a charming Midrand property. You will lead a dedicated team, optimize guest experiences, and drive profitability while maintaining high service standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel management, strong leadership, and solid knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and health/safety compliance. A hospitality degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hotel management, ideally boutique.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Solid understanding of hospitality operations and revenue mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hotel operations across front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff for high performance.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost controls.

This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and driving profitability. You will lead a dedicated team, foster a positive work environment, and represent the hotel within the local hospitality community. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff to ensure high performance and excellent service delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures to meet financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining impeccable standards throughout the property.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and local stakeholders to enhance the hotel's reputation and community presence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management , preferably in a boutique setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
