Job summary

Hollywoodbets seeks a Bookkeeper (iBranch) based in uMhlanga, Durban to join the Purple Team. You will manage monthly journals, reconciliations, VAT processes, and prepare management accounts for review by senior finance staff.

In this role you will lead other bookkeepers, ensure timely delivery of outputs, and support internal and external audits while maintaining COSACT and IFRS for SMEs compliance.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with basic accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of iBranch operations and financial processes; Sage Evolution or similar.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review general ledgers, ensure cashbook and creditors are correctly allocated.
• Capture and post monthly journals and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and performance measures.
• Assist with VAT reconciliations and external audit documentation.
• Support Senior/Junior Financial Managers and audits.
• Lead bookkeepers and cashbook clerks to meet deadlines.
