Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in Durban seeks a Bookkeeper to join our client in the motor industry. The role offers an immediate start with a salary of R20 000 per month.

Responsibilities include bookkeeping to trial balance, handling debtors and creditors, reconciliations, VAT understanding, and assisting with financial statements and related admin tasks. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of financial experience, preferably in motors, and will allocate and post transactions to

Competenze

• Minimum 2 - 5 years financial experience, preferable in the Motor Industry
• Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Debtors, Creditors, Recons, General Ledger
• Correct accounting treatment - accruals, payments made in advance, debtors, creditors
• Allocate and post financial transaction details to accounting software
• Transfer data to general ledgers
• Reconcile and balance all accounts
• Assist in drawing up financial statements
• Good understanding of VAT Act
• Support: Petty cash allocations on job orders
• Assist with both Service Advisor and Warranty Clerk admin duties
