Placements24 is seeking an experienced Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable blockchain infrastructure from a remote South Africa position. You will manage node operations, cloud deployments, and security hardening.

The role requires 5+ years in infra/DevOps with blockchain focus, strong cloud and container skills, IaC experience, and solid networking know‑how. Remote work flexibility is offered with a cutting‑edge tech team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar role, with at least 2 years on blockchain infra.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, GCP; Docker and Kubernetes.
• Python, Bash, or Go scripting proficiency.
• IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Knowledge of blockchain protocols and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
