About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the cryptocurrency exchange and blockchain services sector, is seeking a skilled Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer. This role, which can be performed remotely but may require occasional collaboration with teams based in Soweto, Gauteng , focuses on building, maintaining, and scaling the underlying blockchain infrastructure that powers our client's services. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of blockchain nodes, networks, and related systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, DevOps practices, and a deep understanding of blockchain technology. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage blockchain nodes and networks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a related field, with a focus on blockchain technology.
• Hands-on experience managing and operating blockchain nodes (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other major protocols).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and system administration.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
