Job summary

Western Cape Recruitment is seeking a Debtors Clerk for a reputable technical services provider in Cape Town. The role involves managing debtor accounts, processing payments, and ensuring accurate ledger reconciliations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication with clients regarding outstanding accounts, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy accounts environment. A valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric/National Senior Certificate required.
• Fully bilingual English and Afrikaans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Debtors/Accounts Receivable.
• Ability to perform reconciliations accurately.
• Own vehicle with a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manage debtor accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
• Process payments and post receipts.
• Perform daily reconciliations of the debtors ledger.
• Engage with clients regarding outstanding accounts and resolve queries.
• Assist with month-end close and reporting.
