Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks an experienced Beverage Manager to lead onboard beverage operations across bars, lounges, and outlets.

You will manage inventory, develop menus and promotions, and ensure exceptional guest service while upholding health and safety standards. Candidates should have at least 3 years in a beverage leadership role, strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of all bars, lounges, and other beverage outlets onboard the cruise ship
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Train and develop beverage staff to ensure exceptional service standards are met
• Create and implement beverage menus and promotions
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all beverage equipment and facilities
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Handle any guest complaints or issues related to beverage service
• Collaborate with other departments, such as the kitchen and housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
• Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to management
• Monitor and control beverage costs to meet budget targets
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new beverage staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or luxury hotel setting
• Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including wines, spirits, and cocktails
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
