Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to join our on-board team. You will prepare and serve a wide range of drinks to guests, take orders, and ensure a clean and efficient bar area while following safety policies.

You will work evenings and holidays, collaborate with crew, handle cash and cards, and stay current with menu updates and mixology trends. Prior cruise ship experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of bartender experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a busy setting.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be at least 21 and hold a valid bartending license/cert.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience on a cruise ship or in hospitality is a plus.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to our standard recipes and guest preferences On Board Cruise Ship


• Take and process drink orders from guests in a timely and efficient manner


• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment


• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have


• Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations, at all times


• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests


• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly


• Continuously develop knowledge of new and popular drinks, as well as any changes to our menu offerings


• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
