Bright Search Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is sourcing a Banqueting Waiter for guest services at hotels, lodges, or conference venues. You will assist with weddings, conferences, and large events, providing professional food and beverage service on a fast-paced team.

Applicants should have at least Grade 12 and substantial experience as a waiter or banquet attendant, with advantageous certifications in food safety and alcohol service. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Competenze

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 12 years' experience as a Banqueting Waiter, Waiter, or Food & Beverage Attendant in a hotel, lodge, resort, conference venue, or restaurant.
• Experience serving weddings, conferences, and large-scale events is advantageous.
• Hospitality or Food & Beverage qualification preferred.
• Food Safety/HACCP certification advantageous.
• Responsible Alcohol Service training advantageous.
• Knowledge of banquet and conference service procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Working Conditions

Based in a hotel, lodge, resort, conference centre, or event venue. Requires flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying trays or equipment. May work both indoors and outdoors, depending on the event location. Required to work weddings, conferences, banquets, gala dinners, and other special events.
