Placements24 is seeking a skilled Banquet Chef for prestigious events in Stellenbosch wine country. You will lead the kitchen brigade during weddings and functions, ensuring flawless banquet execution and gourmet presentation.

You will design and oversee menus, cooperate with event planners and Head Chef, and maintain top hygiene and safety standards. Experience in fine dining, and wine pairings is advantageous.

Formación

• Proven experience as Banquet Chef or similar in high-volume event catering/hotel banqueting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of banquet service standards and logistics.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event needs.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee preparation and execution of banquet menus for large-scale events, ensuring timely service.
• Manage kitchen staff during service, providing clear direction and supervision.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served, meeting gourmet standards.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and event planners on menu design and execution strategies.
