Placements24 is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join a thriving dealership in Tembisa. You will be the primary point of contact for customers from check-in to vehicle pick-up, translating needs into clear service plans and maintaining transparent communication.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and knowledge of automotive repair processes. You will coordinate with technicians, generate quotes, maintain customer records, and contribute to workshop

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with dealership management software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, actively listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
• Inspect vehicles with customers, explaining recommended maintenance and repairs in clear, understandable terms.
• Generate accurate service quotes and manage customer expectations regarding timelines and costs.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the workshop technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any outstanding issues.
• Maintain detailed customer records and service history in the dealership's management system.
