Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Automotive Quality Engineer to join a remote quality assurance team supporting the Sandton area. You will develop and implement quality control plans, analyze defect data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The role requires at least 6 years in automotive quality engineering, expertise in Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA, and strong leadership for remote

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).
• Experience with IATF 16949 and remote team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans for automotive components and assemblies.
• Analyze defect data, identify trends, and implement CAPA.
