Collaboration with manufacturing ensures feasible mass production, while testing validates prototypes and production parts. The role requires a strong understanding of materials science, thermodynamics, and mechanics of materials, plus hands-on testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in automotive mechanical design and development.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA) and CAE/FEA tools.
• Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanics of materials.
• Experience with automotive testing procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications using CAD software.
• Perform mechanical analysis including stress, strain, and thermal analysis using FEA tools.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are feasible for mass production.
