Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in automotive mechanical engineering with a focus on component design.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/CATIA) and CAE tools for simulation.
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and vehicle dynamics.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of mechanical systems from concept to production.
• Conduct analyses and simulations (FEA/CFD) to validate performance.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain and QA teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote learning.
