Placements24 is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Welkom team, contributing to automotive product lines. You will design and develop complex mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD tools, while collaborating with engineers and suppliers to bring concepts to production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, at least five years in mechanical design, and proficiency with CATIA/SolidWorks and CAE simulations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably automotive.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and CAE tools for simulation.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality engineering work.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop complex mechanical parts and assemblies for automotive applications using advanced CAD software.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis, including structural, thermal, and vibration analysis, to ensure component reliability and performance.
• Create comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, quality control teams, and suppliers to ensure successful product realization.
• Conduct prototype testing and validation, analyzing results to refine designs and address any issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance product design and manufacturing processes.
