Job summary

Bright Placements in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape, SA, is seeking an Assistant Wildlife/Reserve Manager to support game breeding, conservation management, hunting safaris and eco-tourism operations in a rural reserve. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to work in isolated conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Nature Conservation/Wildlife Management with 2–5 years’ experience, a Code 08 EB license, and solid MS Office and social media skills; report writing and people

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nature Conservation or Wildlife Management.
• 2-5 years’ experience in wildlife management/conservation/game breeding.
• Valid EB Driver’s Licence (Code 08).
• Working knowledge of MS Office and other management software.
• Experience in Photography/Videography and social media engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all areas of the agricultural business including game breeding and conservation management.
• Support hunting safaris and eco-tourism operations.
• Contribute to reporting, planning and operational coordination.
• Maintain health and safety standards on a rural reserve.

Assistant Wildlife/Reserve Manager

Assistant Wildlife/Reserve Manager required to assist in all areas of the agricultural business including game breeding, conservation management, hunting safaris, and eco-tourism operations.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Diploma Nature Conservation/Wildlife Management or similar
• 2-5 years’ experience in wildlife management/conservation/game breeding or similar
• Valid EB Drivers Licence (Code 08)
• Working knowledge of MS Office and other management software
• Experience in Photography/Videography and Social Media platform engagement.
