Placements24 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our client in Upington, Northern Cape. You will work with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in retail with 2+ in supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive approach to achieving store profitability and targets in a busy retail environment.

Competenze

• 3–5 years in retail with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and manage a retail team.
• Strong understanding of retail sales, customer service principles, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with POS systems and retail management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in Upington, Northern Cape.
• Customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.

• Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, and staff management.
• Lead and inspire a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
