Job summary

Premier FMCG is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support the Salesman driver in daily product deliveries and, where applicable, assist with cash and tray collections. The role requires a Grade 12 or equivalent and 1–2 years FMCG experience, with a Code 10 license and PDP advantageous.

• Code 10 driver’s license and PDP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check products per loading sheet and sign.
• Adhere to standard departure times.
• Ensure vehicle safety and hygiene.
• Take cash from customers and cash in daily where applicable.
• Unload products at customers.
• Report accidents to Transport Department/Service Manager.
• Assist driver with reversing per SOP.

Job Purpose

Assist the Salesman driver in daily delivery of Premier products and where applicable assist the Salesman driver in cash and tray collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Check company products as per loading sheet and sign
• Adhering to standard departure times
• Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene
• Collect cash from the customers and cash in daily (where applicable)
• Offloading of product at customers
• Report all accidents immediately to the transport department and Service Manager
• Assist driver with Truck reversing as per company SOP
  

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 1-2 Years’ experience FMCG industry (Advantageous
  
• Code 10 drivers license and PDP ( Advantageous)
