Job summary
Our Client based in Vosloorus seeks an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to support daily operations of their wholesale and retail liquor business. The role requires Matric, 3+ years in liquor wholesale/retail, and supervisory experience, with strong stock control and cash reconciliation skills. On-site work six days a week is expected.
The candidate must be fully bilingual and proficient with common POS systems to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Matric/Grade 12 is required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in liquor wholesale, retail or distribution.
- Must be fully bilingual.
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience.
- Stock control and stock-taking experience.
- Experience with cash-ups and cash reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of POS systems.
- Willing to work 6 days per week and on-site in Vosloorus.

Minimum requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience within liquor wholesale, retail or distribution
- Must be fully bilingual
- Previous supervisory or assistant management experience
- Practical experience with liquor industry rebates and/or IRS
- Strong stock control and stock-taking experience
- Experience with cash-ups and cash reconciliation
- Working knowledge of POS systems
- Experience working in a high-volume stock environment
- Willing and able to work 6 days per week
- Must be able to work on-site in Vosloorus
