Job summary

Pullman Hotels & Resorts in Cape Town is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to lead the service team and ensure exceptional guest experiences while upholding brand standards and hotel policies.

You will supervise servers and food runners, coordinate with kitchen and outlets, train staff, and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, F&B, or related field.
• 5–7 years' progressive F&B operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, banqueting and room service operations.
• Proven leadership managing diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually in full uniform.
• Lead Servers and ensure teamwork across outlets.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies and service standards.
• Provide professional and warm hospitality to guests.
• Attend training and stay updated on menus and promotions.
• Follow health and safety policies and SOPs.
• Communicate service requirements and briefings.
• Manage cashiering and payment handling.
