Job summary

Belmond Mount Nelson in Cape Town seeks an experienced F&B Supervisor to drive service excellence across the hotel''s dining venues, crafting unforgettable guest experiences with an attentive, knowledgeable team.

You will oversee bar operations, assist in hiring and training, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation while maintaining cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in Food & Beverages, in fast-paced settings.
• Solid knowledge of Food & Beverage offerings and service standards.
• Friendly, attentive demeanor with ability to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Strong communication to interact with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and supervising the team.
• Ensure the highest service standards and quality in the F&B department.
• Oversee day-to-day Bar operations including opening/closing, seating, and coordinating with the kitchen.
• Assist in managing F&B departments as needed.
• Implement systems and procedures that improve guest satisfaction and cost efficiency.
