Job summary

Absa Group is seeking aSenior Relationship Manager to Deliver Commercial Asset Finance solutions to a defined client portfolio. You will build strong client relationships, drive revenue growth, and manage cross-sell opportunities within a designated geographic area.

You will assess credit risk, review pricing, and collaborate with credit teams to structure lending solutions. This role demands extensive experience in corporate banking and strong stakeholder management in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least five to seven years plus Sales and Relationship Management experience in a Commercial or Corporate Investment Banking environment solutioning for Commercial Asset Finance Lending Product.
• Experience in evaluating and understanding complex company financial information.
• Experience in structuring complex credit solutions and guiding the credit process.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for CAF clients; develop, manage and retain a portfolio of clients by building strong and sustainable relationships.
• Review and negotiate new pricing with clients, in accordance with Absa's pricing policy and endeavour to maximize returns.
• Drive the credit review process by obtaining up to date financial information and timely submission of applications.
• Promote adherence to policies and governance, and ensure ongoing risk management and compliance.
