Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Area Operations Director to oversee operations across multiple store locations in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead strategic initiatives, optimize profitability, and ensure consistent brand standards while developing diverse teams.

In this senior role, you’ll drive sales growth, manage P&L, and collaborate with head office on marketing and operational programs, shaping the retail ecosystem and delivering excellence in customer service.

This senior leadership position is crucial for driving operational excellence, ensuring consistent brand standards, and achieving ambitious sales and profitability targets across the designated area. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong financial acumen, and an exceptional ability to lead and develop diverse teams. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a senior multi-site leadership role (e.g., Area Manager, Regional Director).
• Proven track record of achieving significant sales growth and profitability in a retail setting.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service principles.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and coaching skills.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience managing P&Ls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Centurion, Gauteng area and occasionally beyond.
