Job summary

Abantu Staffing Solutions in the Western Cape invites applications for an Area Manager to oversee clothing retail operations across multiple stores. Reporting to Operations Manager, you will drive execution of business plans and monitor performance with regular store visits.

The role requires 3-5 years in a similar Area Manager capacity, clothing retail experience, Grade 12, and a Code 8 unendorsed driver’s license. Strong leadership and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Retail operations qualification will be an advantage
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar capacity as an Area Manager
• Clothing retail experience is essential
• Valid Driver's License -- Code 8 unendorsed

Responsibilities

• Reporting Directly to Operations Manager
• Responsible for all operations in the business unit.
• Assist the Operations Manager to make careful considerations of all aspects in the business unit before making a business decision.
• Responsible to ensure that the business goals, decisions and plans are effectively executed and implemented within the specific business unit.
• Extensive travel between stores as you would need to ensure that regular store visits are being conducted.
