Placements24 is seeking a diligent Architectural Technologist for a hybrid role in Pietermaritzburg. You will translate concepts into detailed drawings and specifications, collaborating with senior architects and managers to drive project success.

Your work will cover drafting, BIM coordination, material research, and documentation across multiple sectors in KwaZulu-Natal, with opportunities for professional development and flexible office/remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

Qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM technologies.
Proven experience in architectural drafting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Research and specify building materials and systems, ensuring they meet project goals and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
