Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Klerksdorp team. The role focuses on translating concepts into buildable plans, ensuring compliance with NBR and SANS standards while coordinating with architects and engineers.

You will develop BIM models in Revit, prepare technical specs, perform site inspections, and assist with tender documentation. On-site collaboration in North West is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architectural Technology or related diploma.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist with technical detailing.
• Strong knowledge of SA building regulations (NBR, SANS).
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, including 2D plans, sections, and elevations.
• Develop and manage BIM models for projects, ensuring coordination and accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications for materials and construction methods.
• Liaise with consultants, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and documentation queries.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction progress and adherence to design intent.
• Assist in tender documentation preparation and site supervision during the construction phase.
