Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead Architectural Technologist to spearhead technical design and documentation for projects in Mahikeng. You will mentor junior staff, implement BIM/CAD best practices, and collaborate with architects and engineers to deliver buildable construction documents.

The role requires strong technical leadership, high proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of regional codes and regulations. This is a full-time on-site position in the North West region.

Qualifications

Professional qualification in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
8+ years of experience in architectural practice with a focus on technical design and documentation.
Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong understanding of North West region construction methods and regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead development of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
Coordinate and manage the work of other architectural technologists and technicians on project teams.
Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and project requirements.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical queries during construction.
Implement and enforce BIM standards and workflows to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
