Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Remote Architectural BIM Specialist to join a distributed team, supporting nationwide projects including those in the Free State. You will develop and maintain BIM standards, create complex models, and coordinate with disciplines remotely.

This role offers autonomy, cutting-edge BIM tools, and opportunities to influence project delivery across South Africa. Strong Revit/Navisworks skills and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field with BIM specialization.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in architectural BIM coordination and modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks; experience with other BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models from concept design through construction documentation.
• Conduct clash detection analysis and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve model conflicts.
• Provide BIM training and technical support to project teams across locations.
• Generate schedules, reports, and visualizations from BIM models as required.
