Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Aquatics Centre Manager to lead a state-of-the-art facility in Benoni, Gauteng. You will oversee operations, programming, staff supervision, safety protocols, and financial performance to deliver a safe, high-quality experience for all patrons.

The role requires proven aquatic facility management experience, lifeguard and First Aid/CPR certifications, and strong leadership with a focus on community engagement and program growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an aquatic facility or similar recreation operation.
• Current lifeguard and first aid/CPR certifications are mandatory.
• Budgeting, staff scheduling and program development experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the aquatics centre, including scheduling and staffing.
• Develop and promote swim lessons, fitness classes and team support.
• Enforce health, safety and emergency procedures and lifeguard oversight.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise aquatics staff and admins.
• Manage the centre budget, revenue and expenditure control.
• Engage with community groups and clubs to boost usage and participation.
