Placements24 seeks an Aquatics Centre Manager for a state-of-the-art facility in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will lead daily operations, manage budgets, and drive development of swimming lessons, water aerobics and events.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in aquatic facility management, lifeguard supervision, and program development, with a focus on safety and customer service in a Leisure & Sports setting. Hybrid work arrangement in Mossel Bay is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in aquatics facility management or supervisory role.
• Current Lifeguard certification and First Aid/CPR qualifications are essential.
• Experience in program development and staff management for aquatic facilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the aquatics centre, including pool maintenance and safety procedures.
• Develop and promote aquatics programs such as swimming lessons and water fitness.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise lifeguards and aquatics staff.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and emergency protocols and regulations.
• Oversee the aquatics centre budget, revenue generation and expenses.
