Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare support team. This apprenticeship offers a structured pathway for individuals aiming to build a rewarding career in pharmacy and healthcare services. Under the guidance of licensed professionals, the apprentice will learn the fundamentals of dispensing medications, managing stock, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions under supervision

• Maintain accurate records of patients and medications

• Manage stock levels and reorder supplies as needed

• Label, pack, and organize medication stock for easy access

• Communicate professionally with customers and healthcare professionals

• Follow all safety, hygiene, and confidentiality regulations

• Support administrative tasks such as inventory logging and patient follow-up

• Help maintain a clean and efficient pharmacy environment

• Participate actively in all learning and development sessions

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (12th pass)

• Basic knowledge of healthcare or life sciences is preferred

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work under supervision

• Proficiency in basic computer use (MS Office, Email, Inventory software)

Experience

• No prior experience required – this is an entry-level apprenticeship ideal for recent school leavers or career changers.

• Any volunteer or part-time experience in a healthcare, customer service, or administrative role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Occasional weekend shifts may be scheduled during peak periods

• Total: 40 hours per week

• Flexible learning and practical components are integrated into the schedule
