Key Responsibilities

• Install domestic appliances (e.g., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers) in customer homes.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and local building codes.
• Connect appliances to existing plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality and leak‑free operation.
• Test installed appliances to confirm they are working correctly and efficiently.
• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to customers on appliance operation and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation‑related issues that may arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the vehicle and at the customer's premises.
• Manage inventory of installation parts and supplies in the service vehicle.
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation for each installation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in appliance installation or a related trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical).
• Solid understanding of household plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools relevant to installation work.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable driving record are mandatory for frequent travel within Tembisa, Gauteng and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively.
