Job summary

FlySafair is seeking a warehouse specialist to manage spares movements, maintain ERP data, and ensure accurate stock levels at the Cape Town base. The role requires shift work, strong attention to detail, and experience in stock management.

You will perform weekly cycle counts, handle COMAT packing, and keep precise records while supporting loading and unloading of spares on aircraft.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
• Minimum 2-3 years in Warehouse (Essential).
• Valid EB driver's license (Advantageous).
• Willing to work shifts (Essential).
• Strong stock management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Move spares between base and stations and log in ERP.
• Enter stock movements promptly in ERP to keep data accurate.
• Sort parts per Work Instructions on receipt.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and random counts for stock accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for spare parts movements.
• Create COMAT shipping docs and packaging as required by Instructions.
• Manage tools and shelf-life items for tools and rotables.
• Load required spares on the requisition system and update ERP after receipt.
• Daily housekeeping and high standard; warehouse access control.
• Daily shift reporting and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Assist with loading/offloading of spares on aircraft and queries.
• Follow up on quarantine spares.
