Helderberg Personnel seeks an Air Consultant to create, manage and confirm airline reservations for brands across the company. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers, supporting the travel needs of clients and coordinating workload for the SA team.

You will coach teammates, onboard new staff, and act as escalation for complex air travel queries, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Competitive salary package offered.

Formación

• IQ: Grade 12 qualification is required.
• At least 12 months experience with GDS systems (Amadeus preferred).
• IATA ticketing environment experience is advantageous.
• Experience of the Group Air Market and broad travel industry exposure.
• Numeracy and financial awareness; strong organizational skills.
• IT literate with MS Word/Excel/Outlook proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Create, manage and amend group flight reservations, quotations and ticketing requirements.
• Make and amend bookings with contracted and ad hoc airline suppliers via telephone, email, GDS and supplier platforms.
• Manage airline booking information through Amadeus, including queue management and administration.
• Ensure all airline, supplier and internal deadlines are met.
• Resolve booking issues and travel disruptions, including after-hours support.
• Investigate discrepancies between flight bookings and tour costings.
• Maintain accurate reservation records across internal systems.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and airline partners.
• Apply industry knowledge to support commercial and operational decisions.
