Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng is seeking a data/automation specialist to optimize our Google Workspace usage, automate workflows, and deliver real-time insights.

You will work with SQL, Power BI, Looker Studio, and Tableau to build dashboards and reports, while simplifying complex AI-driven solutions for non-technical colleagues.

This role emphasizes proactive problem solving, clear communication, and the ability to translate technical concepts into practical improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and proactive problem solving.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Basic SQL querying skills.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI / DAX.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Looker Studio.
• Experience with Google Apps Script and AI automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal support for Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Drive) and optimize usage.
• Act as first point of contact for tech queries, using automation and AI tools.
• Assist in developing internal tools, automated workflows, and AI-driven solutions.
• Manage and report on data, delivering real-time insights to leadership.
